Support for Individuals and Families

Evidence-Based Counselling for Eating Disorders

Eating disorders are serious, complex illnesses that affect both the individual and the people who care about them. They often emerge during times of transition and can take an emotional toll on families who are trying to understand what is happening and how best to help.

With the right support, individuals and families can begin to better understand what is happening and take meaningful steps forward.

A Supportive and Collaborative Approach

Treatment focuses on helping individuals and families better understand eating disorders while creating a path toward recovery that is grounded in both science and compassion. My approach to care is collaborative, and when appropriate, I work alongside physicians, nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, schools, and other professionals to ensure treatment is safe, coordinated, and supportive.

Family involvement is often an important part of the recovery process, particularly for adolescents and young adults. I support caregivers in learning how to respond in ways that help restore stability while also strengthening connection and confidence throughout the recovery journey.

Who I Work With

I work with individuals and families affected by eating disorders, including those experiencing anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, ARFID, OSFED, and binge eating disorder. Support is available for adolescents, transitional age youth, adults, and for parents and caregivers who are navigating how to support a loved one through recovery.

Each situation is unique, and treatment is tailored to the needs of the individual and family.
